The final verdict on Anger Management delayed

Another bad week for the rating of the new FX network series, starring Charlie Sheen, saw drop in viewership. Only 2.4 million viewers enjoyed the fourth part of the show, compared to 3.4 previous week. If you want to make your own mind of the return of Charlie Sheen to the TV screen, be sure to watch Anger Management.

The ratings are still strong for a cable sitcom. But the numbers indicate that huge number of 5.7 million viewers, who tuned in to the premiere episodes June 28 on the FX Network, are not returning. There were almost 40% drop in ratings in the second week of the show. But it is not only bad news for Charlie and his therapy group. The good news is that Anger Management did improve on its lead-in in its third week by 39 percent. To add to that, the show remains ahead for the first four episodes by 77 percent compared to what was in the same time period on FX last year.

Only the time and viewers will tell if we will enjoy another Charlie Sheen long run on the TV screen. Six more episodes left before FX has to decide whether to green light an additional 90 episodes. The FX Network bosses will not make any decisions until it is seen how all ten episodes perform. So, we just have to hope for the best and watch Anger Management with our fingers crossed.
